Broward County Woman hits $1 million top prize by playing the GOLD RUSH LIMITED SCRATCH-OFF game

Florida Lottery announces that Gena Kanov, 37, of Weston, claimed a $1 million top prize at the Lottery's Miami District Office. He won the prize by playing the GOLD RUSH LIMITED Scratch-Off game.  She decided to receive her winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $795,000.00. 

Kanov bought her winning ticket from Publix, located at 5950 Coral Ridge Drive in Coral Springs. The retailer also received a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning Scratch-Off ticket. 

The $20 Scratch-Off Game GOLD RUSH LIMITED, was established in September 2021. And that includes 32 top prizes of $5 million and 100 prizes of $1 million. The game's overall odds of winning are 1-in-2.65. Further, this ticket is included more than 33,000 prizes of $1,000 to $100,000! 

Scratch-Off games are an essential part of the Lottery's portfolio. Because ticket sales of these games were approximately 77 percent in the fiscal year 2021-2022. 

Since its beginning, Scratch Off Games has generated more than $17.77 billion fund that goes to the Educational Enhancement Trust Fund (EETF).
