A Saginaw woman won a $100,000 Powerball prize from Michigan Lottery

Michigan lottery announced the Powerball prize winner of $100,000. Michigan Lottery stated that Cheryl Marx won the Powerball prize on 5th June but they announced it on Thursday.

The winner Cheryl Marx won $50,00 by matching four white ball numbers and a Powerball number. The power play option doubled the Powerball prize from $50,000 to $100,000.

Marx said, After the drawing, I contacted the winning numbers hotline and wrote the Powerball winning numbers."When I looked at my ticket and I shouted with joy because my ticket numbers were matched as the winning numbers."

Cheryl Marx purchased the winning ticket for $2 from Tobacco & Liquor 1 in Saginaw. I hold my ticket and took it to the Saginaw office to cash it, and they told me It was really a $100,000 winner, I was thrilled. Because I forgot I added a power play option to my ticket. I am still suspicious that I won $100,000.

The Powerball jackpot last won on April 19 with $252.6 million. The current jackpot is $366 million.
Powerball drawings are held on Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday according to jurisdiction.
