A Massachusetts lottery winner finally claims the $3 million lottery prize on Friday after six months the winning ticket was stolen. The winning ticket was stolen from him by two convenience store workers.

 Headquarters authorities say that both were arrested after they openly argued about the distribution of loot in the lobby of the lottery.

On January 17, Diesel mechanic Paul Little went into the Lakeville Market & Liquors and bought two Mega Millions Quick Picks and two Mass Cash tickets. He also added a multiplier to increase his winnings. He also bought a bag of barbecue potato chips.
 


However, Little fetch home with the potato chips but forgot the lottery tickets in the terminal tray at the store. On the same night, he won the Mega Millions $3 million prize, and with the Megaplier option. He realized his mistake and searched for the missing tickets but the tickets were lost.

Nunes tries to cash the tickets   Nunes, and her boyfriend Joseph Reddem, 32, of Manchester, goes to Massachusetts Lottery headquarters in Dorchester to claim the prize. The ticket was confirmed to be a winner of a $3 million prize, but the ticket was damaged with burn marks.

Nunes was arrested in Brockton on Tuesday after she failed to appear on June 12, CBS News reported.

"The first thought is that there's a lot of things that I'm going to be able to do that I wasn't able to do in the past, and that's exciting," Little said. "What I'm hopeful for is that I utilize this money to not only help my family but to also help other people. One of the first things I'm going to do is pay the mortgage off on my house.

Little's ticket matched the first five numbers on January 17, 2023, Mega Millions drawing. The white ball numbers were 2, 12, 18, 24, and 39  just missing the Mega Ball 18 to hit the $20 million jackpot. However, due to the 3X mega plier option, his $1 million prize tripled to $3 million

Lakeville Market & Liquors received a $30,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
