Mega Millions jackpot increasing after no winner in Friday drawing. For the 2nd time in less than two weeks, the Mega Millions jackpot reached in billion dollars. 

Nobody won the multi-state lottery  Mega Millions jackpot. Mega Millions is now estimated at $1.05 billion with a cash value of $527.9 million.

Before it happens Tuesday's drawing, the jackpot may be a lot bigger. People who dream of becoming billionaires, cause the sale of lottery tickets.

The Mega Millions jackpot has been growing since it started on April 21 as a $20 million prize. And now 29 consecutive drawings took place without a winner.

Mega Millions jackpot is the 7th-largest lottery jackpot in world history among all lottery games, and the 4th-largest in the game's history.

In Friday night's Mega Millions drawing, there was no largest jackpot winner, but 5 lucky players won a $1,000,000 prize by matching the first 5 numbers: 1 from Arizona, 1 from California, 1 from New York, and 2 from Pennsylvania.



The California second-prize winner got a $1,502,965 prize from the pari-mutuel prize.

A total of 92 tickets won a $10,000 prize by matching four out of five numbers plus the Mega Ball.

14 tickets were sold with the Megaplier option to increase the prize to $50,000, and 13 were sold in California, where the $8,951 prize is awarded. 

The Mega Millions winning numbers for Friday, July 28, 2023, were 5, 10, 28, 52, and 63, and the Mega Ball number was 18. The Megaplier was 5.

Following the Friday drawing, the Mega Millions annuity jackpot was raised by $110 million. The cash value was raised by $55.4 million.

Mega Millions is currently played in 45 states, plus Washington, D.C. and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Drawings are held Tuesdays and Fridays at 11:00 pm Eastern Time. Tickets cost $2 each.
