According to Virginia Lottery officials, someone bought a Case 5 with an EZ Match ticket at a 7-Eleven on Beacon Hill Road in Alexandria. That ticket is now worth a record $1,063,690 that sold in Sunday's drawing. But no anyone knows who is the winner. The winner is anonymous till now.
The winning numbers in June 18 drawing were 1-20-24-26-35. This was the only ticket on June 18 drawing to match all five numbers. The odds of winning the prize by matching all five numbers are 1 in 749,398.
$1,063,690 in Cash 5 with EZ Match Game is the biggest prize ever. The second time the jackpot has exceeded the $1 million mark.
This was the second time the prize exceed $1 million. But in January 2022, when a jackpot was $1,008,842 that was split among a group of seven friends in Virginia Beach.
In Virginia Lottery, The winning ticket has 180 days to claim the prize from the drawing date. Virginia Lottery officials suggest signing the back of the ticket before claiming the prize. If anyone wants to claim the million-dollar prize, he or she must contact the Virginia Lottery.
